Who should use what

  • Shop owners and small teams: Canva. Ask your designer for Canva templates in your brand colours and you can make posts yourself.
  • Anyone editing photos: Photoshop, or a free alternative such as Photopea.
  • Anyone making logos or print files: Illustrator, or the free Inkscape. Never make a logo only in Canva or Photoshop — you will need a vector later.

The practical answer

Have your logo and key layouts made as vectors once, then do daily content in Canva. That is the cheapest way to look consistent without hiring a full-time designer.
